Santiago is a Partner at ParaFi Capital, a fundamental, research-driven crypto fund focused on investing in core decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure and applications. The fund was started in 2018 and has made early-stage investments, including Aave, Compound, MakerDAO, Synthetix, and Uniswap.
Before ParaFi, Santiago was a VC at Sageview Capital, focusing on open-source software and fintech. He began his career as an investment banker at JPMorgan in their Financial Sponsor Group, and investing in crypto since 2013.
