Wesley Williams, Esq. was admitted to the State Bar of California in March of 2010. As a real estate attorney he serves mortgage lenders, real estate developers and owners, title insurance companies, trustees, title and escrow agencies, and technology related companies (proptech and fintech).
Wes’s title insurance and escrow experience includes Fortune 500 positions of title searcher, examiner, title officer, underwriting counsel, claims counsel, product development, training, sales and management.
His expertise extends to title and escrow licensing and regulatory compliance, title agency licensing, RESPA compliant ABAs, ALTA Best Practices, RESPA Section 8 Compliance and CFPB Regulatory compliance.
In early 2017, Wes expanded his practice to include legal and regulatory representation involving the development and use of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, particularly as it relates to real estate, title and escrow insurance industry.
In this capacity Wes is a member of the Government Blockchain Association, an advisor to start-up crypto, tokenization and blockchain technology firms, and a well known subject-matter-expert hosting industry podcasts. Wes and his family live in San Diego, California.
